My PC is 7 years old now, meaning it takes a long time to compress these things, so no, sorry, I can't really afford to do it again in x264 with any reasonable quality.
But yes, if you're trying to use a console or something it probably won't work (personally I just hook up my PC to a TV with an HDMI cord).
It plays on VLC with no issues, and x265 offers much better compression. Harmy's Despecialized Edition is a reconstruction of the theatrical.
